Paris is known for the Eiffel Tower. That is the place people visit the most in Paris, France. But there are lots of other places where people love to visit. The Louvre Museum and Notre-Dame de Paris. The Eiffel Tower is a fantastic place to be, you can go all the way up to the top of the tower. The height of the tower is 984 feet. But to the tippy top it is 1, 063 feet! You can’t go all the way to 1, 063 feet but you can go to 984 feet. The view is so pretty and amazing. The Eiffel Tower was founded in 1889 but construction started January 28th, 1887. It took years to make this tower, it made out of wrought iron. The Eiffel Tower has gotten and still gets millions of visitors every year. It has been standing for 125 years! The Louvre Museum is the worlds largest art museum! It is historic to Paris, France, it is a huge landmark of the city. The Louvre was made in August 10, 1793. It has many famous paintings in it like “Mona Lisa”, “The Lace Maker”, and “St Michael”. But thats not all the Louvre has sculptures and so much more. There are 35,000 pieces of art work in the louvre with more than 60,000 square meters. About 8.8 million people go to the louvre every year. The Notre Dame de Paris is a catholic cathedral. It was constructed in 1163. About 13 million people come and visit the Notre Dame Cathedral every year. It has a height if 226 feet and it is so beautiful. These are not the only things in Paris, France but these are some of the most commonly populated places for tourists.
